5 year old wisdom

while baking for 3 1/2 hours tonight (7pm until...) with a 5 year old friend of mine, i learned a lot, but here are my favorite lines of the night:

When i said "we're gonna party," i got the answer: "only if it's 'cause Jesus is coming back!"

"Do you know that God loves you more than your mom loves you?" (we discussed how mothers always give advice, even when you're grown up, and that they do so because, well, they love us)

"Do you know why i think you're crazy sometimes? 'Cause sometimes, you act a little crazy, like a child." (upon which i answered, as usual, that indeed i AM a child of God and i DO enjoy acting like it)

"Do you know the difference between you and God? (this was a serious question, and the answer followed before I could think:) God doesn't make mistakes." (but children do, and you're a child to God still, was the explanation)

So, fun was had, the first set of Christmas cookies (~200-300) were baked (and a few were eaten), and i think, in the middle of all that, God was glorified:)
