Just another day...

It was just another day here in Madison. Grey, cloudy, and lately, just a hint of snow... I baked a lot, for a little Valentine's Tea Party I'm having at my place tomorrow, and I decorated and made small Valentines... All that was much, much fun. Never mind the cleaning, mail, laundry, and taxes still aren't done... I'll put up some pictures for you all to see; Gina, there was the snow from the other night (sorry you weren't here; I got the camera out just to share with you), and then, to go with it, the warm fireplace. For Gail, a picture of us at the "Beat the Winter Blues Ball" last night, and, the best part, of my first fried piece of work, a homemade German Donut (Fastnachtskrapfen)!

Hmmmm...that fireplace looks cozy. I miss using mine. Ever since the gas prices rose and people's gas bills went sky high, I just opted out of using my fireplace this year. Woudn't be so bad if I wasn't have to look for another roommate to replace the one leaving, although that rental income is used to get a bill paid off sooner.

Well, girlie, the cake looks yummy. I made some of my homemade spaghetti sauce today. I am off work Friday to drive up to see my son and mom. I always cook something nice so I can bring Justin some leftovers, except I have 3 boys to be feeding now since he and his 2 friends are renting the house. There's no way I could bring this spaghetti to my son and none to his roommates. I just couldn't do those boys that way....no way.

Monday afernoon now Silke and you would have had had you Valentine's do. Was it fun, with good food and good conversation? We don't do much Valentine's stuff here.I think the Americans celebrete a lot more things or maybe just celebrate better.

I wanted to come over and make footprints in that lovely snow photo!! It looked so inviting. We don't get snow here.

hey girl....So my date yesterday was well was loud with a bunch of kids running around....My niece well I think she was acting shy and trying to hid from me because I was video taping her.....The story with her is that I raised her with the help of my parents since she was six months old.....I feel like she is mine...I tought her everything....From talking to potty training....

For the past week I have been waking up to a full moon outside....When I walk out of my front porch its just shining bright right infront of me....Its so beautiful and indescribable....

"Dear God, please give me a genuine love for and appreciation of your Word so that it becomes a solid foundation for my life to guard me against all the lies that we are being bombarded with daily from advertisers, high-pressure salesmen, politicians, Hollywood, radicals from both the extreme left and extreme right, and all who promote anything that is opposed to your Word. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, in Jesus' name, amen."

Hope your day yesterday was good...
